  14. For those representatives working with Value Added Businesses and
  15. Distributors, you may consider recommending cooperative
  16. advertising.  Details are shown below.
  17.
  18. What is Open Systems Today Magazine and HP Focus?
  19.
  20. Open Systems Today is a biweekly magazine for the DP/MIS manager.
  21. Total circulation is over 100,000.  The audience is primarily in
  22. North America and some in Europe and Asia Pacific.  Open Systems
  23. Today qualifies their subscribers to differentiate their
  24. magazine.  Subscribers must be purchasers of open systems-related
  25. computer products and must buy over $100,000 annually.
  26.
  27. HP Focus is a 10 to 20 page special section within the magazine
  28. featuring editorial about Hewlett-Packard's computer systems
  29. businesses.  Typically editorial will cover HP products,
  30. services, customers and third parties in the open systems market.
  31. All articles will be written by the Open Systems Today staff to
  32. maintain the impartiality of their magazine.
  33.
  34. HP is not sponsoring HP Focus.  Open Systems Today is undertaking
  35. HP Focus based on HP's growing leadership in the open systems
  36. market and on incremental advertising revenues they expect from
  37. new advertisers - those interested in the HP market.
  38.
  39. HP Focus will be distributed once each month to those people in
  40. their circulation that either own, plan to buy, or have products
  41. which run on HP equipment.  HP Focus distribution will be 45,000,
  42. almost one-half of Open Systems Today's total circulation.
  43.
  44. Creating awareness for our partner's products is made possible
  45. through cooperative advertising under the HP IMpact Program.  For
  46. more information on this program, please refer to "HP IMpact
  47. Program Guidelines", P/N 5091-4223EUS.  The advertising contact
  48. at Open Systems Today for third parties to use is:  Marlene
  49. Stork, (408)725-4309.  For HP advertisers, please contact Terri
  50. DuFour (408)725-4337 at Open System Today.
